ANOTHER RAW MATERIALS

In this category, we present a wide selection of complementary raw materials used in industrial, energy and production processes. We offer high-quality materials that meet rigorous industry standards and requirements.

» STEARINS

Stearin is a mixture of fatty acids, mainly stearic and palmitic acids, obtained by hydrolysis of vegetable or animal fats.

Characteristics:

White, odorless and solid at room temperature.

High melting point (approx. 55–70°C).

Insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents.

Main applications:

For candle production, soap production, food industry, lubricants and cosmetics.

» PETROLATUM

Petrolatum is a crude, semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons obtained in the process of refining crude oil, before it is completely processed into petroleum jelly.

Characteristics:

Brownish or yellowish, greasy and semi-solid.

Waterproof and chemically stable. Softens when heated and becomes oily.

May contain impurities.

Main applications:

For anti-corrosion protection of metals, for lubricants, for industrial applications, for the wood industry.

» FOOTS OIL

Foots Oil also known as Residue Wax, is a by-product of the petroleum refining process, more specifically during the deoiling of paraffin wax. It is a mixture of heavy hydrocarbons, including paraffins and microcrystalline waxes, containing a significant amount of oil.

Characteristics:

Dark coloured product – from brown to black.

Semi-solid or solid at room temperature.

Contains more than 40% oil, which gives it excellent lubricating properties.

Melting point is usually between 40°C and 70°C, depending on oil content and degree of refining.

Main applications:

For the rubber and tire, textile and leather industries, for the production of lubricants and preservative oils.

» PARAFFIN MASS

Paraffin Mass is a high-quality secondary raw material created as a by-product during the production of candles and tealights. It consists mainly of a mixture of paraffin, waxes and minimal amounts of technological additives used in the production of candles. Thanks to the preserved physicochemical properties of paraffin, paraffin mass is an excellent material for reuse in many industries.

Characteristics:

Content of pure waxes and paraffins.

Good plasticity and elasticity.

High chemical stability.

Excellent susceptibility to remelting and further processing.

Main applications:

For the production of church and decorative candles, for the production of grill and fireplace kindling, for the production of impregnating waxes, for the construction industry.
